*Definition of the gas unit for purposes of this schedule is one hundred cubic feet (ccf)

CUSTOMER CHARGE
Fixed monthly amount that covers maintenance and repair of meters and other customer-related expenses.

DISTRIBUTION CHARGE
Covers the cost of transporting natural gas through HG&E's distribution system, including the necessary measures related to safety and reliability.

PURCHASE GAS ADJUSTMENT (PGA)
There shall be an adjustment in rate from time to time due to cost of gas as provided in the HG&E's Standard PGA Adjustment Schedule. This adjustment reflects the cost of purchasing natural gas and transporting it to HG&E's distribution system. The PGA is driven by market conditions and is adjusted as needed throughout the year.

PROMPT PAYMENT DISCOUNT
A discount of 10% will be allowed on current gross bills provided the bill, including any arrearage, is paid in full within fifteen (15) days of date of bill.

RULES & REGULATIONS
These rates are subject to termination at any time upon notice to the Department. Bills are due and payable 30 days after date of billing. The following Rules & Regulations are applicable to all HG&E utility rate schedules. These Rules & Regulations have been established to convey the conditions that you agree to when requesting and receiving services from HG&E.
