Keeping In Touch During the Pandemic

The health and safety of our customers and employees is HG&E's top priority. Our team is actively monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) and following guidance from local, state, and federal agencies. As your utility provider, we understand the importance of ensuring the continuity of critical utility services and meeting the needs of our customers. While HG&E offices remain closed to the public, we miss seeing you and hope we can keep in touch

Customer Relief

As we strive to provide customers with the highest level of customer service and support, HG&E has continued several relief efforts related to utility services.

  • Disconnections for nonpayment have been suspended until further notice
  • Prompt payment discounts are available
  • HG&E never charges late fees on utility service
  • Payment plans continue to be available for commercial and residential customers

Conservation can Save Energy & Money

HG&E dedicates energy efficienct funds to support the local economy. These efforts will not only assist in economic recovery, but they will also support local carbon reduction efforts. The best part - energy efficiency imporvements can help you lower your utility bills!



Operational Modifications

HG&E has taken several important precautions to ensure continuity of service, including:

  • Restricting visitors and contractors from HG&E facilities
  • Limiting non-emergency work
  • Implementing work from home policies to limit employee interaction
  • Requiring employees to take precautionary social distancing measures
  • Administering additional advanced cleaning measures at HG&E facilities

HG&E is fully prepared to respond to any emergency situations and has sufficient staff on hand to administer customer requests. HG&E employees are prepared to be responsive to emails and phone calls.
