Community involvement is a central belief of the public power philosophy; and HG&E is proud of the role that it takes in making Holyoke a better place to call home.

Last year, HG&E offered support to several major community events including: Celebrate Holyoke, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the Holyoke Fireworks, which is underwritten by the Department. In total, over $97,000 in grants and gifts as well as almost $15,000 in labor were donated to nonprofit causes.
